Melissa Alloway serves as the Assistant Controller for the company as well as its parent company, GPX Enterprises. In this role, Ms. Alloway is in charge of the day to day management of the accounting staff and compiling all monthly and annual financial reporting packages and ensuring their compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles through the development and enforcement of proper accounting policies and procedures.
Ms. Alloway is a Certified Public Accountant with a background in public accounting. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Alloway spent three years as a Senior Accountant in the audit department of the Manhattan offices of J.H. Cohn, LLP, a regional public accounting firm where she was in charge of coordinating and reviewing all fieldwork for the financial statement audits of her clients across a wide variety of industries. Ms. Alloway started her accounting career at Russell Novak & Company, a small public accounting firm in Chicago, where she worked for two years.
Ms. Alloway received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from the University of South Carolina.
